Photography was always his passion (and if truth be told, it still is), but these days he can also be persuaded to produce a mood-capturing video report. Rien is a people person and a born teacher, especially keen on passing on knowledge to younger people; when he isn't out and about working for Cursor, he can be found in the classroom (where he gets paid to be a clever clogs).

Whereas the key focus of journalism is the 'now' and TU/e likes to look to the future, our visuals man Rien is a true history lover and likes to look back to the past. For the rest, he lives the good life and describes himself as a bon vivant true to his Brabant roots.
