Students gather at PSV stadium
This is the first year that breakfast will not be served during Intro. “We noticed that students often arrived late in the mornings, so we made the program start later this year,” says Sanne ten Damme, member of the Central Introduction Committee (CIC). “To replace the joint breakfast moment, there is a joint start every morning.” This morning it took place at the PSV stadium in the city center. After opening at Eindhoven's football base, students will explore the city during the City Tour.

"Protagonist Syndrome"
Industrial Design student and Cursor columnist Tim de Jong wrote a column about his own first year especially for Intro. "Everyone deserves to have that feeling to try on a new jacket once in a while. That’s why I’ve worn a great many jackets during my time as a student: that of a quirky physician, polo-wearing and field hockey-playing out-of-towner, overachieving 5 AM career tiger, pretentious red winedrinking philosopher, ambitious artist, Tinder pro", he writes. Rain doesn't bother students at campground
Despite last night's hard rain, the first students on campus are waking up. “We didn't suffer much from that,” says one student sitting in the sun enjoying her breakfast. “Although it was a little cold.”
They fortunately do not have to walk through a mud mess, the campground is still relatively dry and the warm morning sunshine promises to be a great start to the day in which they will explore the city.
