AI Contest about Intro
For the Intro kids, Cursor is hosting an AI contest. What to win? A delicious cake! Because it's also nice when staff and students who have known the university for a while can participate too, we are sharing the message from the Intro magazine here. The deadline for submissions is September 6.
AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is starting to make an emergence in more and more places; including TU/e. Think, for example, of the masters 'AI & Engineering Systems' and 'AI & Digital Innovation', or the Eindhoven AI Systems Institute (EAISI) in the Neuron building on campus. So as a medium of a technical university, it seems fitting to give our one and only Intro challenge an AI touch.
What can you win?
You win nothing less than a delicious cake (and eternal fame, of course). Allergies? Just let us know and we'll make sure to take them into account.
What do you have to do?
Generate your own AI image with the theme: 'the Intro week'. There are no other rules, so feel free to let your creativity run wild.
No inspiration? Try making a prompt with the words: 'Intro week', 'university', 'students' and ‘fun'. Tip: you can find all kinds of free AI tools online. Try for example: DALL-E, Midjourney or Stable Diffusion! Another one is fine too, of course.
What is the deadline?
Friday September 6, 2024, at 12 noon.
Where do you send it?
Mail your AI image as well as the prompt you used to cursor@tue.nl.
We already created an example ourselves with AI tool Midjourney. The prompt was: 'small students in a big world, freshmen'.
