Roy had been a member of the Waste management & Logistics team at the Facility Management Center since February 2020. A robust man, rough on the outside but warm on the inside, Roy was always in good spirits and greeted everyone he met on the campus grounds with a smile.

He was fully committed to his fellow team members and to ensuring the quality of support service for everyone on campus. He liked to collaborate with people and was always willing to go the extra mile. He was an honest and straightforward person who always spoke his mind.

Roy played an important role in the team, and we miss him already.

We wish his wife Melanie, his children Femke and Thomas, his family and friends much strength at this most sad and difficult time.
