For the honor: who will be the best student athletes of 2019?
Sport, that's an outpouring of blood, sweat and tears in order to attain your goal. A goal that is different for everyone, though the top spot on the winners' podium always beckons. Every year the Eindhoven Student Sports Federation and the Student Sports Centre Eindhoven celebrate the performances of TU/e's sporting students during the ESSF Student Sports Gala. The red carpet will be rolled out on Thursday November 28th in Hubble.
Four winners will be announced on Thursday of this week at the ESSF Student Sports Gala. As well as the best sportsman, the best sportswoman and the best sportsteam, the best sports association will also be proclaimed. “But there will be more than just the ceremony,” assures Janneke Kersten, chair of the committee organizing the Student Sports Gala. “This is going to be a fabulous evening of music, sport and dance.” The eight-strong jazz combo Jazzal will provide a jazzy ambiance during the gala. Also performing, and inviting gala guests to join in, will be a bachata act from Footloose , and after the ceremony DJ Rik will be at the turntables until closing time.
