Hoping aloud for a new love at TU/e Christmas market
Credits, a girlfriend, or simply a delicious breakfast - these are among the very varied ‘items’ that TU/e people are hoping to find on December 25th under their Christmas tree. Cursor took a walk through the festively decorated market hall in MetaForum, learning what visitors to the second TU/e Christmas market think as well as about their hopes and plans for the New Year.
This is the second straight year that the market hall, mainly at the initiative of TU/e community manager Erik de Jong, has been decked out in the Christmas atmosphere. For a whole nine days visitors can do things like skate (now on real ice), enjoy songs and music, and wrack their brains in an escape room. Or they might like to raise a toast to life, love or lessons learned with a mug of steaming mulled wine.
Our reporter Fabian Lucas Luijckx left his skates at home but did bring his camera with him to the Christmas market. You will find his impression below.
The Christmas market is still open (on work days) up to and including Wednesday December 19. For more information, take a look at Facebook.
