Intro 2018 | Move and relax at the Green Strip Market

There was plenty to take along during the Green Strip Market this afternoon - and not just gadgets, but also a lot of information of course. And those who wanted to relax had enough opportunities, as well as the people still full of energy and looking for a way to use it.

Snowboarding, writing down what you want to do before you die, petting animals, talking about what to do when you have to deal with an unexpected pregnancy. Basically if you could dream it, it could be found this afternoon at the Green Strip Market, which stretched from Flux to the Auditorium. Both the cheerful music (thanks to, among others, the rowing club Thêta and music club Quadrivium) and the weather made the atmosphere even better.

Not having to do anything, except finding a spot to nap. That was the case at the workshop Powernapping & Storytelling and that opportunity was seized fully by the intro kids. Those who laid down, closed their eyes and tried to listen to the introductory stories of the TINT foundation. But they probably didn’t hear much of what was said.

Seven sweet sons and a girl as a follower: that is the group Adje Hoorn from daddy Noud Jacobs and mommy Nicky Roijen from Electrical Engineering. They chose to exploit the Viking theme and keep it all cozy. So no punishments, not even for Tycho, and that works quite well.

The Cursor editors were strolling around the Green Strip Market today looking for the coolest gadgets. Pens, bottle openers, saddle covers, glasses and bottles of water might not make an indelible impression on the prospective student who is looking for something to do in his sparse leisure time. Below is an overview of what stood out. Most remarkable item: a bag of lavender from the youth organization of the Dutch political party Forum voor Democratie (FvD).
