For two months, it was impossible to withdraw cash on campus: the only cash machine, located in the Hoofdgebouw, was shut down.

Normally, a cash machine is bolted to the floor, but as the second floor MetaForum has underfloor heating that wasn’t an option. It will now be glued. The machine comes with security ink. If an unauthorized person pulls out the drawer the money will be doused in green ink, making it unusable.
