In principle the latest timetable will be maintained next year: on October 19 the buses started running later. However, this is not entirely certain yet, as Martin Boers, head of Internal Affairs of TU/e informs us. “The new timetable has only been applicable since recently, so the change has not been evaluated yet.”
For 2016 TU/e vouches for the required financial contribution for line 104. Boers explains that it is being examined which other parties on campus are prepared to contribute. He does not let on how much money is involved.
Whether the line will survive longer than next year depends on the current European tender for the transport concession - the exclusive right to provide bus transport - for the region for the period 2017-2026.
