The World Reputation Rankings is derived from the annual Times Higher Education ranking of the best universities in the world. Not only does the Times ranking take into consideration take scientific impact and other facts, but also the reputation of universities based on the opinions of sixty thousand scientists who filled out a survey. The list is topped by Harvard University, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Stanford rose to third place, and Cambridge and Oxford ended in fourth and fifth position, and are the only non-US universities in the top ten.
