Join the Cursor FIFA World Cup pool
Everyone’s a soccer expert the moment the World Cup comes around. Do you know better than the coach, soccer reporters, and analysts? Then show off your soccer knowledge in the TU/e FIFA World Cup pool set up by Cursor. Apart from eternal fame for the number-one soccer geek of our university, we’re giving away some great prizes.
Who’ll be world champion, and what will be the results of the group matches for the tournament held in Brazil from June 12 – July 13? Who will be top scorer, what team will respect fair play the most, and what team has the shoddiest defense? You can answer these and other questions in the Cursor World Cup pool.
Everyone at TU/e is free to enter: students and staff, national and international.
Prizes include a free sports pass for the upcoming academic year, made available by the Student Sports Center. Our illustrator Sandor Paulus, a.k.a ‘de Karikaturist’ will draw a caricature of the winner and their favorite soccer player (if they have one). You can win a 40-euro lunch at Grand café De Zwarte Doos, and Studium Generale will be giving away free cinema tickets. De Ballenbak gives away 20 drinks. Cursor has made available ad space in their magazine, and there’s more. Winners are free to choose their preferred prize in order of ranking. The competition is free of charge, but requires a one-time registration.
So go on, enter your predictions in a chance of becoming the Eindhoven University of Technology Soccer Specialist. Don’t forget to complete your profile, so we can compare scores of departments, services, staff, and students!
Note: Only those affiliated with TU/e are eligible for prizes.
