High Tech Systems main theme foundation day
Today, TU/e celebrates its 58th birthday. The theme of this year’s ‘dies natalis’ is High Tech Systems, referring to the High Tech Systems Center (HTSC) that was launched today. During the celebration in the Paterskerk, several speakers will talk about the subject. British professor Norman Fleck will receive an honorary doctorate.
The High Tech Systems Center, which will be opened officially during the dies, not only combines disciplines from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, and computer science, but also enables collaboration between TU/e and the industry. The university wants to use the research center for trailblazing research into the development of new, accurate high-tech equipment.
