A student team consisting of students from nearly all departments has been working on the invention and realization of a four-seater that runs on solar power. The car will be taking part in the Cruiser competition of the World Solar Challenge in Australia from October 6-13. The team will travel to Australia on August 16 to test the car, and will return only after the challenge.

The unveiling of the Solar Team Eindhoven family car that is supposed to shine in Australia starts at 3.30PM in the MetaForum market hall.
