With someone else handling the camera you can never be too sure of how you'll end up looking in the picture. So hooray for the digital self-portrait called 'selfie' - recently added to the Dutch 'Dikke van Dale' dictionary and a serious candidate in the election of the Word of the Year 2013. Selfies not only dominate Twitter timelines and Facebook feeds, they also star on several websites, with themes such as 'selfies at funerals' and 'epic selfie fails'.

We are very curious to see your ultimate selfie of 2013. Share it with us and add a brief explanation on why, when and where it was taken. Cursors staff will judge all entries and select the best ones for a 'selfies special' in our next magazine, to be released on December 12. The best one might also get a special spot on our magazine cover and will for sure be rewarded with a National Dinner Cheque worth 100 euros.
