Stress at Hockenheim Ring

In a weekend full of technical problems, Universitry Racing Eindhoven came in 20th at Formula Student Germany. The rebuilding of a battery pressed the team for time, a problem it wasn’t able to overcome over the weekend. Still, everybody saw the URE08 has potential.

High ranking URE at Hockenheim ‘World Cup’

University Racing Eindhoven (URE) and their URE09 have achieved a respectable fifth place in the German city of Hockenheim. The Eindhoven team participated in the electric class division of Formula Student Germany, the unofficial world cup for student racing teams.

URE ready for the game

From July 31 through August 4, URE will be participating in the Formula Student competition at the Hockenheimring in Germany. It’s one of the races that are part of the semi-official World Championships for student racing teams.

URE08: serious lightweight

The latest creation from the basement of the Department of Mechanical Engineering has been completed in theory: the URE08. The most important feature of the electric race car is its minimal weight. According to constructors, the car will come to weigh less than 180 kilograms.
