Growth Student Sports Center properly coordinated
Since August 1, the Student Sports Center has a club manager for student sports clubs. It’s one of the results following the reorganization of the Student Sports Center (SSC), which was unavoidable considering the extreme increase of members. From now on, all sports are categorized into one of six clusters.
“The number of people with a membership has increased by more than two thousand over the past three years,” says Wim Koch, director of the SSC. “And that growth brought along problems. We especially need transparent coordination: who’s in charge of what? To that end, we’ve divided the sports-related division of our organization into six clusters, each of which is coordinated by a sports coordinator.” In the next six or seven years, Koch gradually wants to implement changes based on his master plan, including more sports halls and a wider entrance. “It will be a proper reorganization that will last thirty years.”
